A Happy Day

Today, I woke up to a good thing!! 5th Aunt visited me with presents for my mother, some books and a few discs, and also gave me a red packet with money inside. She complimented me on my fairly well achievement in PMR, I like compliments, so I was quite happy. And I also like presents in things or money, so when I was back inside my house, I eagerly and happily opened the red packet to find that there are RM 200!! in it!! ^-^ So happy!! At the same time, the music 'True To My Heart' starts to play inside my head!! Because I was so overwhelmingly happy!!



In my past posts, I mentioned that I hope I would get money for some special occasion, I was referring to this kind of things actually!! Now my dream has come true, and I predicted it. Now you know what TRUE POWER is!!

With this money, I can do, actually buy a lot of things!! So happy!! #__# ( and also grateful by the way )

溏心風暴之家好月圆

家好月圆 is a very touching story.Though with my limited proficiency in English, and lack of visual information, I cannot truly describe this great experience, I will write down the things I love about the show.

The drama character, Jo the father ( Jo Bao) and the Mother (Ho Ma) love towards the children really moved me and connects to me. The acting is very authentic, geniune and true. Note that one scene where Jo Bao through various obstacle try his vest to go to his daughter birthday, really touched me. And how Jo Bao come out to protect the children, showing his duty as a father and protector the his family is really great. He says ' No need to worry, Jo Bao is in the hall'. How he shows that he will protect his children under any circumstances appealed to me. Perhaps it is my inner desire that magnifies this character so much.

And the mother, Ho Ma, the wise mother. Although not so appealing to me, she also always care for the children. The family's harmony, where the six children always play together, eat together, never lonely, and the way they speak to the aunt without reserve and without pressure, is just so heart warming. The best part of all is still how the parents protect the six children from the oppression of the evil stepmother, which Jo Bao foolishly marry and any other harm.

Lastly, one of the highlights to me, is this beauty, 于素秋. As I knew her from other shows, I have a preconception that she would be a good character. But she turns out to be one that always disappoint and mistreat this good boy, that always care and love her, Kun Ka Cai, to turn to that Dr Ling that I don't like so much, probably hate. Fortunately, they still get together in the end after revalation of her inconsideration. Luckily this beautiful girl is paired with someone with a really good personality, or else it would be so inappropriate.

Alright!! I really love 溏心風暴之家好月圆!! Touching, heart warming, family show. A show that shout out this message to me, 'This is family!! This is having people around you is like!!'. The family in this show makes me really envious!! Hoping to watch the prequel, 溏心風暴!!

Claymore

When I first see Claymore in the net, I thought it's just another typical fighting manga. What led me to start reading it is after I fell in love for Angel Densetsu, I want to read more works from it's author and found out that he is the creator of Claymore. As I got great expectation from this author, I give Claymore a try.
Suprisingly, it is superb. The drawing is artistic, the fighting is so intense, every battle sequence keep you wondering will Clare survive and win the battle. It got the same great suspense in the plot and the battle that I find in Kiseijuu.
The realistic battle, with limbs and other body parts like head falling off, got me really into it.
Another manga named Blaster Knuckle has feature like these, that is the violence, but it don't have the well written strategy, intuition based fighting style that got me wanting more after each chapter. Blaster Knuckle hero is just too powerful to make you worry about him for even a second.

I'm glad I read Claymore, thanks to Angel Densetsu.
Currently reading it, might want to buy the anime DVD.
Hope I will get money for certain occasions. *Smile*
Finally, I'm able to smile. I'm just blessed by God to have these manga and anime to make me forget about the world and be happy. I hope I can be more carefree and practices 'Happy Go Lucky' !
Actually, I like to laugh. But I find it hard for me to laugh with people after I got so dissapointed with people for no reason. Reading manga and watching anime is a Vitamin to me now. I can laugh alone reading good comedy manga. Stephen's Chow's movie is also always one of the things that make me laugh.

Going to library

Around August 2009, I started going to the library during recess time. All this started with my desire to read ' 海潮之声' / Umi ga Kikoeru . After having a really enjoyable time watching the animated movie of Ocean Waves from Studio Ghibli, I wonder how great will it be, the experience of reading the novel. So I started going to the library everyday to search for it. Untill this day I still fail to find it. I assume they don't have it, but I have found a few books that got my attention.

<<爱上麦当劳>> , the title alone already caught my eyes. I took the book out from the bookshelf and got myself even more determined to read this book after seeing the beautiful illustration. Flipping a few pages, it got me even more resolved to read it for it is in simplified Chinese character. Because I lost my library card I couldn't lend the book while my new card arrival was in progress. So I visited the library everyday during 10 minutes before the end of recess to read a few pages.

After a week, I got my card. I lend the book.

Uninstall - Bokurano Ending Theme

A very great song. Great singer to bring out the music and a even greater composer to make the possibility of this good music to be sing out from the singer in the first place.

Angel Densetsu エンジェル伝説

Angel Densetsu is a manga series that have elements of pre-2000 manga that I love. The school uniform that looks like the military uniform. The less impulsive character compared to manga nowadays that have the girls running all over for a certain 'cool' guy and a very good main character.
People complained that the art of the manga is ugly, but I feel it's drawing style is what makes the manga standing out for me compared to the typical drawing style.
The story is about a boy named Kitano Seiichiro that have the heart of an angel, but the face of a demon. This causes many misunderstandings, leading people to assume that he is a villain or heroin addict, and results in a career as the head thug, or "school guardian" at his new school.

Kitano Seiichiro

Manga with a good hearted character always attracts me.
He defeated Takehisa Yuji. Thus, Takehisa has since pleaded loyalty to him. Kitano is such an angel that he influenced his 'underlings', including his 'little brother' Takehisa. Takehisa is no longer a troublemaker after being under Kitano for some time.

Speaking of Takehisa Yuji, he is my favourite character in this manga. He is always there to protect his 'brother' Kitano. His bravery to stand up against a whole group of people to a fight gained my respect. He is also a loyal friend, he doesn't hate Kitano for not being a thug, instead said he is one of his best friend in his entire world. My admiration for him reached the peak when I know he is a good comrade and a good friend.

Takehisa Yuji

How I wish I will have a friend like this.

I had a good read reading this manga. It is a very funny manga, it makes me realise how much I have loved comedy. But I am also very sad when I know everything so good about this manga is going to end. As I read to the last chapter, I wished there were more, but this is the end.
Knowing there is an 2 episode OVA, I searched for it on the net and watched.
It is amazing. The colour of the anime of the older days that I like and knew so well. The OST that is retro. It reminds me of the good time watching Slam Dunk. There seems to be more episodes left undone, but I do not know why they dropped it on episode 2 and just sell it as an OVA. I hope they will continue it in the future, but I think there is little hope.


Craving for more from this author, Norihiro Yagi, I read Claymore. As expected of him, it is another masterpiece. Angel Densetsu is a manga hard to find in a million years.

Power!! by Seino Shizuru

This is my first shojo manga that focuses on the romance and boy girl relationship. The genre can also be label as romantic comedy. The plot and the character profile itself has a lot to elaborate. With Seino Shizuru Sensei great sense of humour and exagerrating drawing style at some parts make the whole manga very enjoyable and quite light hearted. I got me so addicted into it that I finished the whole manga by 3 days. Then, who says boys don't like romance. I'm a good example to contradict the usual stereotype thinking of girls or the society.


Summary of Power!! (JP) / Girl Got Game (ENG)
Kyo Aizawa is very excited about getting to attend Seisyu Academy, which is famous for its adorable girls' uniforms. Her spirits are crushed, however, when she opens the package containing her school uniform to find a boy's uniform.

Her father explains to her that, as Seisyu Academy is also famous for its boys' basketball program, he enrolled her as a boy so she can fulfill his own dream of becoming an NBA basketball star. To make matters worse, she has to stay in the boys' dorms, and her roommate is the same boy she came to hate at tryouts.
